Underground
The Underground template was originaly created for a competition on the OWD site, the theme of the competition was The City. The inspiration for the template came from one of the most iconic symbols of design - the London Underground map. The template is easy to amend and update and is very versatile. It validates as XHTML strict and CSS, and also passes the WCAG and 508 accessibility requirements.

The Coffee Stain template uses a very subtle colour scheme and easy navigation to great effect. It is a static 2 column layout which uses 'extra content' boxes as a way to add news, information or links. These 'extra content' boxes can be positioned almost anywhere in the main content or side bar easily.

The Brown&White template is designed for ease of use and is very versatile. The left hand side bar is primarily for navigation but can be used for images, links, information and news, whilst the main content is easily split into sections using headings. The colour scheme uses browns and whites. Brown is a warm, neutral colour; it portrays earthiness and reliability.

The Orange&Blue template is my first Open Source design, it was based on my old web site design. The layout is simple yet effective and it is easy to display large amounts of text so it has a large number of uses. The colour scheme of blue and orange works beautifully together. The cool, calming effect of blue works well with the stimulating effects of orange.
